yea, i felt the the sameway until i found out that by doing so EA can reset your account, thus i dont go on pistol,knife servers anymore. if its the badges and stats u value stay away from P&K servers.

Ahhh Knife kills, let me shed some light in my best knife kill.

Was on Karkhand, I've just been hit from behind with a guy with a PKM, so I turned and charged him... As I charged I seen him start to reload so I jumped in the air and crouched and knifed him in the face... it was a GG kill

go 2 a knife & pistol game, i got all my basic combat badges form knife kills there

It's not a good idea to be telling players to go to a knife and pistols only server as that is a direct violation of the BFROE. If he takes you advice and gets caught, I don't think he will be too happy with you when his stats get reset.

Below you will find the section of the ROE that covers pistols and knife only rules as they apply to players. I have my expert knife and pistol badges and the most easiest is the expert pistol ( because they have bullets) but the knife for me wasn't as hard as many people say it is. I ran around an entire round with nothing but a medic kit and a knife out and killed anyone i could get my hands on, which wasn't hard. Just do as I did and you'll be fine. Oh by the way the map was Strike at Karand.

I barely managed my expert badge by hunting down snipers on half-populated 64p Mastuur City server. The real trick was keeping my commander on top of spotting them out for me, which wasn't hard once we actually got a commander with a mic. The snipers are typically easy to pick out with a simple scan, as they remain stationary for longer periods than other troops. The biggest pit-fall to this tactic is walking up on claymores, so keep your eyes peeled. And don't forget that snipers near CPs are often acting as squad leaders, be prepared.

Another option is to find a corner in Karkand (I usually pick the fenced in square in front of the Hotel) and knife people as they engage your own troops closer to the CP. The problem is that people just spam grenades, so you don't survive long unless find a safe position or you are up against a green team.

And finally, the best tactic for killing mobile targets is the dive-and-slice, but you have to remember to aim up when hitting the ground to avoid those annoying *piff* misses the server likes to lay on you.

bfroe does nothing about pistol and knife servers or anything else........i have put in an application to be accepted with them no responce.....i send screen shots of stat padders no responce.....i send ips of servers that are breaking the rules....no responce...yea you got sum job protecting bf2 there...

I can not comment on the reports you claim to have submitted to us because I have no knowledge of them. However let me assure you and everyone else that reads this thread that the bfroe does indeed take the appropriate action when we receive a report on a server or player that is violating the rules and that every report submitted is investigated and forwarded to EA for final disposition.

What you need to understand is that the bfroe does not reset player stats nor do we have the authority to shut down ranked servers that violate the rules. Our job is to investigate the reports that are submitted to us and then forward them to EA games along with any comments and evidence we have collected so that they can take appropriate action. As for receiving a response back from the BFROE or Electronic Arts on a report that you submitted, it is not the policy of either origination to follow up with the player that submitted the report as to its disposition. If you are interested in finding out what action if any was taken against a player or server you reported I would suggest simply going to the bf2s website if you want to check if a players stats have been reset or you reported a server you could simply check that using your in game browser to see if it is still running.

While I respect your right as well as any other players right to voice your opinion or comments in a respectful manner, something you all need to keep in mind is that a small group of people are trying to investigate and process several hundred reports every month and that the procedures that are in place to assure that each report is processed correctly and fairly take time therefore sometimes depending on the number of backlogged reports, it may take several weeks before final action is taken by EA. However rest assured if a player or server is found guilty appropriate action will be taken.

As for your application I can not say why you did not get a response from us however if your still interested in joining the bfroe program we are looking for active honest players that are willing to put in the time to come join the program. Therefore if would like to submit a new application to us I will personally take the time to review and process it and schedule an interview with you.

Just a friendly word of advice to you and anyone reading this thread. I would not be suggesting to players that they go and play on a pistols and knife server to get their badge.

Something you guys need to keep in mind is that if someone reports a server to us and you happen to be playing there and your name appears in the screen shot your stats will be investigated and may be subject to being reset.

My advice to the rest of you is not to listen to this guy just follow the rules and play fair then you will have not have to worry about loosing your stats.

Where I recieved my basic knife was in a 64 player Karkand in the fenced off area by the hotel near the alley to the flag. The spot where usually the USMC spam nades and MEC sit and spam nades at the USMC.

I was USMC and snuck up behind where the MEC were facing, towards the USMC flags. Now all I did for the round was sneaking in and killing 1-3 guys before they realized I was there. Try to be someone with alot of sprint so you can run like crazy with the knife. They usually drop a bunch of medic packs for easy heals and some lay prone so thats easy knife kills.

I got 5 in a row when I got comfortable because it's alot of fun to keep doing. I do hate the "puff" you get when youre right next to a guy but he doesnt die. Just keep it up the whole round and you will get it.

Stuff to do on P&K servers (That are ranked.. Only PnK server I'd dream of making would be Unranked then, you can tell anyone what to do or not :) )

1. Join it.
2. Walk around with your knife out for awhile.. But oh! A squad of guys! Whip that PKM/n00b tube out!
3. Fire. (Duh)
4. Piss off the Stat-padders.
5. Enjoy them whine!
6. Laugh your arse off as you're kick voted off the server.

yesterday on wake when i took out 4 people and 2 more were coming at me i knifed them both on the last ticket.

Do itaas sniper on Karkand. follow the flow of the game when kiled spawn back at the closest base to enamy sneack around. I got mine on like second try that way. STAB STAB STAb dont go on knife pistol server you will get it if you keep trying the reward is so much sweeter.
