Is the SHarqi TOW cheap?

As some people know you can shoot the TOW at the begining of the round and kill the Mi28 before it gets off the ground and do this the entire round.

I cant do it, but what do you guys think about it?

do u mean the stinger. or the actuall tow. b/c i nerver heard of that. if the stinger is firing at u when the missles leave the stinger, jump out and get back in. simple.

Yea dude u can take out the HAvoc before it's airborn with the TOW at the hotel. You just have to spend hours practicing where to aim is all.

I've seen that before but thought they lowered the range of the TOW cause of it. haven't seen this since 1.2.

It's the same on Ghost town, the USMC can hit the chopper too. Really sucks.

1. There is no USMC in SF, let alone Ghost Town
2. In Ghost Town is way easier than this Sharqi trick.

Hmmm, I was watching a TPG guy no more than a month ago owning some MEC players with the TOW at their helo pad with the TOW on Sharqi. So as far as I know, it's still doable.

It's definitely a reality in the game, although the number of people that can do it is minimal. If you get shot more than once or twice, Take the matter into your own hands, i.e. forget the chopper and take the hotel flag, snipe the guy (easiest), have commander arty/cartillary just before chopper spawn, etc.

any stupid pixel aimer can do it, and to me its as dishonorable as the karkand hotel glitch, now before you say no its not as bad they are both coded in the game and have not been removed, both you have no defenseive responce as the victum and both are cheap shots that can not be returned, funny though the karkand one will get your stats reset...this one should too

exactly as the guy said abouve, how stupid can you be to fall for the same trick twice? this always ammuses me ( i spelled it wrong and i dont care) when i kill someone from the same sniper spot because the noob wont realize that there i am waiting for him and i will not move until i am killed, so he dies 4 times in a row.

Having no defensive response as the victim is your rational for whether it's dishonorable or not? hmmm, let me see. What defense does a sniper have against a tank? What defense is there against an arty barage? What defense does a tank have against a TV missle from a jet? I can't compare this at all to the Karkand Hotel glitch. This game is based largely on the rock-paper-scissors concept. This is just another example of that. If the TOW is taking you out, attack the TOW. The only thing cheap about this is that you don't have to put tokens in the slot to fire the TOW.
