yep thats probely what happened, just look at your minimap for the Gray chopper to appear as soon as its gone you know someones in it and wont be able to lift off for a few secs until its warmed up giving you enough time to turn from what ever your doing and shoot

It takes 7 seconds for the chopper to take off. This is time enough to fire the TV-missile and kill it.

It is a valid tactic (not baserapping) any time you can keep the enemy down, more power to you!!!

How about this.....

Work as a "team" and tell one of those "not any good for teamwork" snipers to cover the TOW when this is occuring over and over? :p
