Any map that is designed so that it's easy and fast to gain a long-term dominant position that is not achieved and held by skill, but by pure geography/design, is a bad map.

I appreciate Kayback's intent and perspective when he appeals to players' sense of fair play/ethics and reasonability. However, 12:oc7ock's reaction is a perfect example of how one cannot achieve much by appealing to other players. Selfish opportunitic individuals will always be a part of any large public group hiding behind eAnonymity. So will rude, crude and poorly mannered individuals.

The real sinners here are the inept designers, coders, project manager and testers behind the creation of the BF2 version of the Wake map.

The spinoff is that players will switch teams to avoid having to fight under extremely disadvantaged conditions.
