regaurdless of how the government spends the money our weapon are accurate and have won many wars i can think of many examples where our spending saved many lives....like the abram tanks in the gulf war,apaches,smart bombs,night vision,....now with me no longer getting of subject.....MEC is a made up army to my knowledge and this would only be possible if all the middle eastern countries gave up there differences and made an army, but regardless of whether they have an army we are obviously concerned with that area and that is why ea/dice used it in this game....when you have an rpg in sf you are an insurgent(and whatever else they are). on warlord have you really looked closely at those guys they look like they just got out of ji had day care and picked up there ak for 15 dollars and waltzed into battle.....

RPG's are fairly cheaper to get hold of for Terrorists or Insurgents/Rebels whatever you want. In countries like the Middle East since theres not a huge scale rich economy like the US etc they can only buy with the money they have.

They use AK's which are very cheap, you can pick them up in countries like South Africa for around £15 (around $26) same for the Middle East countries. Now the AT for the USMC will no doubt cost more then the RPG. So im guessing it works the same way. M16 = expensive, AK = Cheap. AT rocket = Expensive, RPG = Cheap.

Come to think about it, why do the US army not use AK's? they are powerfull, effective and don't jam. They are cheap as well. So the US Army could save alot more money and put that back into their economy etc.

the rpg is beastly - the lack of guidance and the drop seems to make no difference to its lethality
its the best AT weapon by far

Agree - I'd much rather use the RPG than any of the other anti-tank weapons.

The inadequacies of the original weapons have become really clear now that I've been playing AF. Fine, 3 to kill, but how about speeding them up a bit so a tank can't dodge them - can't imagine that really happens.

How are MEC "Guerillas"?

No only SF weapons on SF maps, wait for all those cool mods to come out.

Wow!!!!!! Finally EA has given the right weapon to the right army. When I was playing BF2 using the MEC, I was using anti-tank and was like "Guerillas don't use this crap". And now I have the formidable RPG-7. Is there a way of using this weapon in maps like Sharqi Peninsula, and other regular non-SF maps?
