Hey, I appricate your time. I am concerned about how much time I will actually be able to contribute, if it lasts all Sunday.

Most people don't play the whole day, because it lasts 10 hours. Most armies try to rotate people into the match who have not played yet, or have played the least amount of time that day (well, that is how our army does it). Certainly no one would expect you to play all 10 hours. For example, I am unable to play much on Thursday because I am at work until 7:00 PT, and the match ends at 9:00 PT.

I know if I join, I have a friend that is going to go in with me. Funny how many guys join the service with their buddies.

When I joined, I joined with 5 of my friends. They were very accommodating and put us all in the same army and even the same division.

What is this about switching sides? So, even if I join up EU, I will be forced to switch over to the MEC for a couple rounds? Hmm...

No, you would never play MEC if you joined a US army. However, if you played on Strike at Karkand, you would play half of your rounds as the attacking team and half as the defending team. But, you would always wear the US uniform and have the US weapons. If you are in the Chinese army they modded it so you can play Strike at Karkand too.

No you dont play as MEC if your in the EU army. The maps have a day1 and day2 modification.

Say if I am MEC on Sharqui, thats day one, if we attack and win the side, the territory belongs to us and the other team gets to attack to take it back. Meaning, next round the MEC starts at TV station defending.

Its kind of complicated, I just show up and fight :)

Its worth the $11 for 3 months IMHO, but each to their own. You have to be 16 to join as well. You will find many of the players to be at least in their 20's and 30's, if not older.

Its true that there are no unlocks, but in reality anyone can be proficient with any weapon in the game, just because you dont have a DAO, doesnt mean the AT kit is useless, you gotta learn to use the smg right. However, with the 1.4 patch, unlocks will be returned to BF2C, and hopefully that will be soon, I miss the G36E and L96A1 on battleday.

My firends and I signed up for this mid way through the 2nd tour. It had it's highs, but many lows for our style of play. We were able to use our unlocks, but as some one stated, it's due to a patch. The people that you meet and deal with are really cool and that is one of the good things about the tour.

But after awhile, it wasn't that fun for the following reasons.

1. Scheduling a time when you and you're buddies can play at the same time.
2. You're stuck doing a specific task.
3. 60 players on 32 player sized maps (one of the biggest problems in my opinion).
4. While games are organized, some times too much organization and the desire to win will produce games that aren't fun to play in.

The good points where the people you played with and the reasonable amount of diversity in the maps. I would suggest it to people who want to be in a clan, but don't want to "try out" for one.

If you have any other questions, just ask. They do offer a 10-day? money back refund if you don't like it. But it doesn't cost that much to get a 3 month pass. But if you don't play BF 2 that much, it may not be worth it all of the extra stuff you tend to do (training, practices, meetings). But if you spend enough time playing the game and like organized competitive games, it may be just the ticket.

i would definently play if i could pay for it someway but since no paypal or bank account(im 16)i cant do it,well 21cw is fun and we get lots of cool stuff to,like we get sf stuff euro army equiment and were getting lots of new stuff in next mod like mortars and a10s:) :)
