Best way to snipe?

Any tips for a noobie sniper? I unlocked the l968A and I can't kill jack while other people completely kill me. Any help?

aim for their body, like in the torso and then finnih them off with 2 shots with your pistol.

If there in pretty close range then aim straight for their head but if you barely can see them aim just a little above their heads that usually will give you a 1 shot kill.

i like snipin from low down not on top of bilding coz its like the last place most ppl look whn getn hit dont to 2bars of health plus if u kill thm ppl round thnm some time look 4 you on top of bilding as well :)

but i always try 4 head shot 1 shot 1 kill :) .

if you do go high just remba to spot 4 rest of your team spot evrythng neva no u cud save a fue of your guys tht way :) well thts my opinon enyways

claymores are your freind but remba to find out if FF is on coz if u plonk thm in a door way or sumet you may end up TKin a team mate and getn punished if there a N()()8 . . happons a lot

last but not lest its ez to kill ppl in jeeps etc whn tryn 2 tak a flag :) ezy head shots

Would you need to adjust the crosshairs on the l9 if your far away?

your m95 semes to powerfull . . . . .. . . soem of the jeeps acps and plains in video werent somking but u still blow thm up ???????

iam confused i snipe a lot and shoot at jeeps etc bbut neva go up thth fast

if ur question is in regard to the kit, do like 99% of them do:

play karkand
drop claymores in hallways
avoid direct confrontation with any enemy
rack up kills
reload w/supply guy
rinse and repeat

If you are having trouble with the sniper rifle, only aim for the head if they aren't really moving. Otherwise, aim for the torso. It only takes two torso shots to kill. Also, just hitting them once is likely to get you a kill damage assist. You also need patience. Just wait for the perfect shot and conserve ammo.

my 4 usual sources of kills

1. get behind the firefight and headshot medics as they prone to revive.
2. Claymores at flags
3. pistol against antitank guys at medium range. they will charge you with the dao-12 and you can usually drop them by then.
4. without a battle rifle, you often are the first one to whip out the nades.. this is an advantage.

this technique works.

never forget to drop claymores at the top of ladders after getting yourself to a good location on top of a building.

always use your claymores to secure your position high or low. nothing feels better than some clown sneaking up on you and knifing or pistol killing you and when he runs away he trips a claymore and dies after you, lol.

use cover and angles so you can shoot and disapear before someone can spot you.

spot every enemy you can. some players hate when snipers do this because hearing it over and over can be like spamming the airwaves but everytime you spot the enemy they pop up on the radar and any half decent player will really appreciate this if they are in close proximity to a tank etc. or if the enemy is about to take a flag.

based on the map choose the best rifle. the semi autos are sweet and have been somewhat forgotten since the M95 and L96 but on karkand and smaller maps they can take enemies out before they know what happened without needing pin point accuracy. my favorite is the M95, even though it's not as accurate I love trying to take out helicopter pilots and drivers. I have gotten used to how it aims and feel very comfortable with it on most maps. L96 is also sweet, great headhunter and very easy to use this rifle with the 2 shot pistol trick to finish them off.

remember to keep your pistol out when changing positions or your capping, unless your using a semi-auto rifle.

join a squad and follow a medium distance behind them, picking off enemies and spotting. stay back while they cap and control the flag outskirts. plant a claymore near the flag and keep moving. otherwise find a nice spot to chill and pick off enemies in the distance.
