Locations of BF2 maps IRL

Well, i thought of something to do when i was bored: find the real locations of bf2 maps in google earth.

The only one i can find is wake island. Can any of you find the exact locations of the maps?

Confirmed maps that are real:

Wake island
Dalian (no plant)
Songhua

Maybe:

Daqing
Gulf of oman (in persian gulf)

Take this as a challenge. It's frakking hard. Post the image of the IRL area. Or, in google earth, try to give the most exact point coordinates.

Actually almost all of them are real, and I bet all of them are real.


Remember.. we're dealing with EA/DICE here.. you think the same people that need a patch for a patch actually make up their own maps...

Nope, not all. Karkand is not... we have no proof which are real places, made up places or modified real locations.

Only problem is, Sharqi Peninsula is located on the persian gulf ingame... not in the middle of Iran... Still, you were close!

I worked on Wake Island for a year as a security force police. It is pretty neat and all playing on it going damn I used to sit in this tower all the time....

The Gulf of Oman and Zatar may be Easy to find as well, first look for an airfield on the coast of Gulf of Oman, and Zatar is said to be on the Red Sea, I saw a site where the locations were, but forgot.

Real- Wake Island, Dalian, Daquing Oilfields (yes the oil is real), Songhua, Gulf of Oman (Oman is real a real Persian Gulf country), and Sharqi but its not on water so DICE/EA just borrowed the name, last but not least Zatar is real.

Gulf of Oman is real, and so is Jalalabad. And I'm guessing the Great Wall is real.

Warlord is real. In Fallujah on Google Earth just look around the city, you see an open space with a fountain and a building north of it. I don't have GE on this HDD, so I can't give a photo/real coordinates.
