The easiest thing to do is what I did.

1st rename your BF2 folder to something like BF2xx. Now mouse over and right click then slect copy. Now right click and select paste. You will have 2 BF2xx folders. Rename one of them back to BF2. Install the BF2 1.4 beta patch. This folder when named BF2 will be the one you play from when you want to check out the beta version. Whichever version you want to run simply needs to renamed to BF2 and the one you don't want to play gets renamed to BF2xx. Your desktop shortcut will run whichever folder you have named normally.

Yeah I know but this is just someone that is asking how to un-patch...

And there isn't a way that we all know of... so we just told him that he has to re-install. Why is it a sticky.. that's what I don't understand.

Hey! I screwed up too! But mine didn't come with a d*mn Read-Me file!

Then you did not get the beta file from the official download links....cause that one was a zip download with the readme and the executable inside.

Why would anyone post the unzipped file for download?

More than likely, you just did not read the readme and unzipped then installed.

Mmnnn... I wouldn't care if I could only play 1.4, I can't even play the game since I patched it, It always CTD's. And uninstalling it would need the CD key, which is on the manual, which I lost >

why dont you NOT uninstall, and just install a version with 1.3...

So you'll have 1.3 AND 1.4beta.
