How do I un-patch?

Any way to go back to 1.3 other than rolling back XP or re-installing BF2? Didn't realize there would only be 10 servers in the world running this damn patch...and yes, I know I'm an idiot for not creating a separate install folder so don't bother to point that out.

Nope, it's impossible. You must reinstall bf2 (highly recommend doing a manual uninstall - see this link http://forum.eagames.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=25962)

Then reinstall bf2 and download the patch again (if necessary) and create two separate folders - see this link: http://forum.eagames.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=25940

LOL... you just screwed up. You have to re-install... next time listen when it says copy the BF2 folder..

Then I have to re-install PRMM too, I hope there is nothing else I added...dammit. It looked so official I thought all servers were going to be running it. :cry: I knew this was going to happen, just too damn lazy, and no harddrive space. My curiosity for that map got the best of me.

I imagine if they release a Beta2 you'll most likely have to repatch your 1.3 install and not the 1.4 Beta1 version.

You were suppose to make a backup copy of your BF2 folder.

no, just uninstall and reinstall, all your mods and profiles and screenshots will still be there when you get back, unless you selected to delete them while you were uninstalling
