TV-Missile unresponsive

I just've reinstalled Windows, BF2 and everything and been using a new hardisk, but I'm having a problem... The TV-Missile seem to be bit unresponsive to my clicks...

I've tried to change the sensitivity but still not working well... What should I do?

EDIT: Just to give you an idea on how it "feels", it's like using the TVM with a ping of 250

You mean you can't fire them? or you can fire but cannot redirect them?

My general guess would be to remove your BF2 folder from you My Documents folder and let the game remake you a clean set of parameters. You will have to know your login and password and reset your keyboard assignments if you modified them and also you will hear the training messages again, but it may clean up the problem.

Sometimes it doesn't respond to me, I fire it and its a dud or something, I have no ability to click around. But thats rare... doesn't happen a lot. But I've seen it. Also, sometimes when I'm in camera mode I'll hit "Q" to spot people and such and if I right click to go into that minimenu to spot like a boat or a tank sometimes it will just get stuck on the screen and I can't right click out or do anything. I'm just stuck and get do anything until we die. DICE might wanna check into that...

yup, i've faced the same problem too. it seems like some mouse clicks don't register and the missile fails to change direction. i mostly encounter this issue in the MI-28.

Yeah, same problem here.. happens quite often with me.. and I'm sure it's a very common issue with everyone, unless their comp specs are amazing. I would on average get 50 FPS, so I think that makes sense.. especially when flying the FPS drops considerably. I think it has something to do with changing the camera view.

My experience is from the initial firing of the missile, not directing.

Might of gone a bit off topic here but thought id post it . Is there any way to change the colour of the crosshair on the tv guided missile to make it easier to see instead of plane white ?

Simon: I can control them, but they are slow to change the direction.

I think it's my bad... I am using a file-sharing app; it may be lagging it up ...

yes you can..i've changed mine to red. Go to options, and the first tab which is gameplay i think...there you can modify the colour and loads of other stuff. However, i'm not sure if this cahges the tv crosshair colour though...am not a gunner very often

I have a lot of problems with TV missiles. On occasion the TV missile will go straight through the chopper. Other times I'll fire the missile and nothing happens. And sometimes the missile reloads, then reloads again. For no reason. So many problems with that damned thing. But I love it so.

I'm not trying to sound obnoxious or cocky or anything… but I think EA and DICE should come to the players for advice. They know who is good and who isn't... they have all the stats in front of them and even MORE that we don’t even know about. We, as the players have tested this game a lot more than they have and we know the bugs. Let’s say they see me or pink or kaji or anyone for the matter... they would gather us up and just brainstorm alllll the bugs and glitches that we know about. Then in return they take all the info and compile into in a nice little fix for the chopper =) same as for the leaders in the jet category and tank etc etc. of course, what we talk about wouldn’t be 100% integrated into a new patch but at least it would be something for them to think about. Any one agree/disagree?

With chopper did you have the problem with. Cause the mec chopper missiles is know to be slow to react. And also did you try different servers?

About every forth click with with TV missile doesn't register for me. I also have alot of problems with going through helos, for example tonight I had a great ping of 20 and hit the AZ-12 two times in a row (hit it between the crew members and under the glass) Seams like it happens alot more with 1.3, so hopfully 1.4 will fix it.
