Does anyone else think the cricket sounds are over used, it’s like one is stuck inside your ear. The wind sounds are a cool effect but also over used, they should be used more if you’re on top of a building maybe but not when you’re walking around on the ground so much.

is this patch multiplayer enable or this is for single player only?
The map comes with the 1.4 beta patch and you can play it single player, multiplayer (but not co-op), there's not a lot of multiplayer beta servers right now, all of them are in the UK.
The map is a combination of all the urban maps from BF2, there are many open spaces to be shot making this a very good sniper map. (0% of the time while playing I didn't know where the shots were coming from. Crossing a street, be advised to run as fast as you can tanks will get you since alot of the streets are long and open. There are no air vehicles on this map. Many of the buildings you can get on. Beware of claymores. USMC camo actually works on this map and will blend in well with the surroundings, sorry MEC's I can see you from a mile away. Lots of jeeps, and LOTS of noob tubing. Beware of the Noob tube, it is used and used well on this map. Lots of alley ways. Sometimes you may find yourself pinned down and no cover close enough to rush to. AT rockets will be coming not only at tanks but at you, beware especially if your camping on top of a roof. Claymoring stairs on this map will get you your explosive badge (veteran) trust me. This map will remind you of Karkand, but the overall feel is different.
yeah its not too impressive, just the same features used over and over again. they should start holding contests for the community to submit custom maps to be used in ranked play.
So far my biggest problems are the wind noise. Just a tad over done. If it is possible to limit that to when you are on roof tops or tall buildings like the hotel then that would be much better.
The MEC artillery piece at the outpost. Just a tad to far forward. But in game play I have noticed it tends to be everywhere is the front lines.
I have to say it's not a bad map, rather enjoyed it myself. I have to echo the comments about the wind noise though. I play almost exclusively with headphones and it's really annoying. Definetely needs to be toned down a bit.
Also, the MEC really needs to have an uncappable base. I played the map 10 times, 5 as USMC, 5 as MEC, the US won everytime and only once was the score closer than 50 points by the end of the game. As USMC, just storm the Mosque and you remove the MEC armor, from that point on it becomes a massacre. There is hardly any fighting at all outside the city so those two flags nearest the main USMC base can be capped easily by MEC, but then can not be defended easily and USMC can get them back just as easily.

True. In the end, there were no MECs to fight with... they all left.
