I got the same problem and will post some caps later.
Also from Sharqi and Ghost Town.

Maybe I can make a chopper-lag movie also we'll see.
Those are my averages, I hit much lower but never get the chance to get a screenshot. My rig should keep this game above 50fps at ALL TIMES. I know some recently graduated computer science majors that can code better than this.

Oh ok.. I've had that problem after copying my directory and patching with 1.4 beta. I've tried everything, nothing worked. But a reinstall did help. Reinstall, and patch 1.3 over 1.0 if you don't want to give 1.4 a whirl.

You may want to read this if you don't feel like reinstalling: http://forum.eagames.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=22005

              Comp specs: Athlon XP 2100 (1.73 GHz), 512MB PC2700 DDR, Radeon 9500
              Patch: 1.4 full over 1.0

              Problem:

              - Smoke particles cause my PC to lag in FPS considerably.

              - Shock paddle bug still exists.. keep trying to reload it, but it doesn't.. and spams the chat with "Clear!"

A going "Prone Animation" will also end this mid air flying insta-prone crap, and this boring infantry combat were almost every enemy encounter invloves insta-prone/shoot/repeat.
It's part of the game. WHy would anyone want this changed. I mean, in Counter Strike if you get shot with the AWP you pretty much die, you dont see them changing it. At this rate the game will stop being fun & competitive all together.

Agreed. Learning from BF2, EA/DICE need to focus on a better patching process and focus purely (at first) on the errors, bugs, problems.. and not THE game. That can always be debated afterwards.

There's your problem. Never install the incremental after the full. Do a fresh install and then a full 1.4.

noticed that in 1.3 a few times,,

                      Evidence - Screeny

Was playing on SP whenever i blew up the Arty the picture wouldnt show completly,

                      CPU - P4 3.6ghz HT
                      GPU - 512mb X700 PCi-e

                      Source - Ingame
                      Evidence - Screeny

Whenever you go off the screen and the timer to punish appears if your in a plane with the shockpaddles as current weapon you wont die and the timer disappears, however if you go off the map completly the plane explodes, but still leaves some margin for exploits. I assume it will work inside vehicles aswell,

(i prefer to test bugs offline rather than get accussed of cheating as the Beta servers are ranked )

Event: One bomb release in planes. Once in awhile, hitting fire will only release one bomb instead of the full payload. This bug will persist if the Aviator drop the rest of the payload and trys to restock back to his full compliment. Only resolution is to drop the single bomb, and then go straight back to re-arm. Happens with all planes on all maps and boosters.

That isnt a bug. If you go to rearm and collect ONE bomb, then drop it, then go back and collect two you can drop them 1 at a time. If that post made them 'fix' that, I will kill you.

OK here is a really annoying one.....

I was trying to connect to a server my friend was playing in and while loading, it froze at around 62%, then crashed to desktop. SO i was like WTF. i reconnected, and when i joined in the server it kicked me out giving me this error message: This server only allows players with unmodified content to join. Revert your version of Battlefield 2 to the official version to join.

                            OOKKKAYYYY

I am 200% positive that I am running v1.4 BETA and so was the server. Now any RANKED server i try to join it gives me the same error message.

I had played in the RANKED servers the night before this happened and all was fine. I did not alter any of my "content" or whatever it is referring to, I'm just stuck here forced to rienstall and do a system restore.
