Special Forces is a good expanison primarily for small infantry battles in my opinion. Night Maps aren't all that great because they lower your FPS rate down alot.

I dont make a distinction between all of the expansion packs. Its all BF2. I play BF2 everyday.

SF is like beer its a learned taste.... i love both bf2 and sf....My favorite map is Devils Perch...and Iron Gator both fun

I hate those two maps (particularly Devil's Perch), but I agree that SF is great. It has a different "feel" to it than vanilla BF2 though, so perhaps that's why some people don't like it...

When I play vanilla BF2 I find I miss the grappling hook and zip line that Special Forces has.

Surge and Warlord are a good infantry maps. They compliment Sharqi and Karkand well.

I own all the booster packs and SF. And must say, I still play SF exclusively!

I mostly play SF, mainly because I don't like being killed by tanks or jets a few seconds after spawning.

My favourite maps are Ghost Town, Warlord and Surge.

but the other ones are also great ^^

I never used to play SF due to lag, I toned down settings and now im playing SF alot, mainly Commanding on Warlord since Warlord is just like karkand. But for Night maps helicopters own.

I still play now and then. I think all of the day maps are good and Night flight is okay. But I don't really like Leviathan or Devil's Perch. I have about 100 hours with SF.:)
