Are still playing BF2:SF, I bought it yesterday to compliment my copy of BF2 Vanilla for my new laptop arriving here 7/5. Are you guys still playing Bf2:SF?
What are some of the best maps?
Im just trying to hold off till BF 2142, if it gets good reviews.
I bought SF not too long ago and play it almost exclusively now. I was getting tired of the regular BF2 maps and wanted the extra unlocks. Most of the time when I log on there are 50-70 SF servers, a majority of them are Warlord (which is infantry based with 1 heli per side) and Ghost Town (which again is similar with no planes). I find SF a nice change of pace for infantry maps away from Karkand and away from air vehicles (which I can't fly well). I recommend a turn on all the maps though, most are good except the night maps, which I am not a fan of-

I picked up SF for $10 on ebay just to get the extra unlocks for vanilla. Lately though I've been playing it quite a bit. And the night maps have actually been some of my favorites. You won't find as many choices for servers, but I've always had a good half dozen that were low ping, moderately full, etc...
