Damn, remove the intro if you don't like it then. Doesn't bother me, and the layout is fine. Sick of these CS topics though. I mean if you love CS so much go play it. But what is the difference between CS and BF2. BF2 is more complex, variety of things to acknolodge, with CSS its spawn shoot die and so on, small maps, 1 task. So BF2 takes alot more time on loading screens to load up the big maps etc.

Go here C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Movies (if that's where your game is saved) and edit all the files so they read ie - intro.backup. POOF no more intro movies, also check here http://www.tweakguides.com/BF2_1.html - may help you with your performance issues.
