I only have 2000 arty kills. Out of a grand total of 38000 kills, 2000 shrinks to insignificance. Less than 7% of my total.

Arty counts as your global kills? or didn't it used to be like that?

Am I the only one who has this problem? At the begining of a map I'll run a K/D of around 4:1 or even higher, then I'll go through a spell of like 1:1 or even 1:3 ish and it totally blows my K/D out the water for that map.

I mean a couple of times I've been runing 15-20 kills of 5 deaths, and I end the game on like 25 kills for 18 deaths.

Or worse, i'll run a couple of maps with around 20 kills and 5 deaths and then I'll have a map where I'll just barely avoid a Purple Heart and end the match with like 13 kills for 17 deaths.

I'm a dedicated Ground Pounder, so I don't vehicle whore, but it is quite erratic.

The same goes to me. I've noticed, when i'm trying to play with stats in my mind - i suck When i play for fun - I'm doing good.

I have 9000+ points right now and my K/D is 0.63 and rising every time i play :)

A month ago I couldnt get it past 0.49 but I think playing with good squads and playing in armour is helping my k/d alot.

Once I started figuring out all the good spots and tendencies of enemies on certain maps I have been able to move my kdr up 0.01 every day or two that I play the game. A week ago I move up 0.04 in one day of playing. Now I have around 29k points and a kdr of 1.65.

I was a dedicated BF1942 player and in the first weeks that gave me quite an advantage. I had a KDR of 1.5 straight away. Currently it's 1.8, but it's raising. Though I hardly use vehicles, I play 90% of the time infantry.

Mine is hurting... I am about 500 more deaths than kills and it is not changing anytime soon! I love the AT class which hurts a bit but probably there are so many better players than me that can aim better and shoot faster! Maybe I can partake in some "whoring" to even it a bit? Nahhhhh..... I enjoy teamwork & fair play-
