Uh.. Yes everytime you kill someone you get 2 Points. The person who was shooting at the other person and that got a 2+ bonus probably has a Localization Pack installed just like SaladFork's..

i love reading that when i get some kills. Had this change for a while, and to be honest, it still cracks me up when i read it.

And this works in ranked servers? ANd also, does everybody else read 'Stabbity Death' or only you?

Unfortunately, only you get to see the little jokes and such, but it IS allowed on ranked servers, because you aren't changing the balance of play. Now, if you were changing your aiming GUI... that would be a different story.

I love this little tweak.

With only 180 hours in it allows me to discern much more easily all the info that comes in.

I'm not big on the whole "modeling" thing much anymore, so I don't keep up on the weapons and their names.

Means very little to me. But sniper rifle, ah I get that, and where he might be located.

The cool thing about the localization is the flexibility. You were able to make it more generic to understand information you really didn't have an interest in. I, being a gun-nut, went the exact opposite, adding details and corrections to the weapons, just for ****s and giggles.

IE:
G3 ---> G3A3
Mk3A1 ---> Pancor Jackhammer Mk3A1

..and such.

What I'd like to do is seperate the tank's main gun from the coax machine gun, so it would tell me "120mm Smoothbore" or "M240 Coax" depending on what killed me.

I also changed the mounted LMG's to read "Emplaced M249 SAW -or- RPK-74". Helps me discern them from the carried variants.

Oh, and the Essex CIWS was renamed "R2D2 With A Hardon".

You still missed the M256 part, hahahahahahahahahahahaha. Anyways, i hate the fact that the guns use HEAT rounds, the DU APFSDS round is SO much better. BUt then it would be a one shot insta kill for everything. BTW, why the hell do tank guns have splash damage, a HEAT round is a shaped charge round, designed to concentrate all explosive power on penetration, it's like it has a HE/HEAT round, doing adequate damage to tanks, and still a bit of blast.
