I play 2v2s with koji and other guys in HF (of which I'm a member) so yeah, I can vouch for them. I always get a big smile when I take down a chopper koji is gunning for ;-)

Doesn't happen often, but that's what makes it so great.

LOL, using cannon requires no little skill? Tell that to people who have no success with it. Having said that, I can tell my MG skills are pretty top notch. I aim not by the crosshairs, but by the bullet stream, and if I have a good platform, I can hit people very well, aswell as vehicles. Ive also discovered the optimal angles for the machine gun, and I always let my pilot know about it, for the better perfomance.

As for TVGM, lag is what breaks it for me

For me it depends on the day. I can either hit every shot or can't hit squat with my missle just flying through the other helo.

I think he ment that MEC helo MG requires no skill. The other two definitelly require some to be able to kill effectively.

I'm getting better at it by the day. Even manage to get choppers out of the sky with TV more and more. Still there are way better gunners out there than me but i do my best

TV missile requires alot more skills, anyone can have a pilot hover outside of the Sharqi radio station while they blast away at the door where the spawn point is. The person who I've seen do this day in and day out constantly all day is terminator_1337 or something.

^__^ Wow I always play Wake 24/7 on our 32 Slot Ranked Server with a friend and some other people that are pretty good pilots I was amazed by one today hi name was ICEQA or something we gunned them all down I even got a nice new kill streak 93-0 ^__^ And TV's well choppers who do barrel-rolls I still find those hard but standing and or flying forward/sidewards/backwards are a piece of cake..

Also I really wasted my stats by being a super-bad gunner in the beginning of the game and now my Chopper Ratio is getting better and better..

Ya, I know what you mean same here I had a 0.something ratio in the beggining but then by January I took the time to learn to pilot and gun etc, so I got better but makes me want to start a new account, but on my current account I have nearly all the weapons etc.

We certainly have some guys that are up there but so far I rate {pdx} pyrosee as the best I have seen. Him and kojimab have gone head to head with each other quite a few times and earn't each others respect so much so that koji asked pyro what macro he was using, LOL I can vouch for pyro he doesn't use any macro.

So maybe the question should be who's the best non-macro using TVGM gunner.

I went head to head with pyro the other day after the server crashed and gayspy maintenance meant that the server name wasn't showing up. He was owning me then I changed the sensitivity someone here told me in land controls and I improved 1000% and was taking it to him, pretty much who ever got the shot off 1st would win.

most of gunners who brags about their skill do these claims because they own pubbers on maps without adequate AA [im great, i went 50-0 on sharqi! yaaay!].
ive seen many 'good' gunners and pilots on dragon valey - they vere raping my team until i've finaly got my hands on the pzg - and you know what? they died one by one, many times in a row. bacause macroed tgvm that can turn on dime isnt enough when oposition can fire back reliably. automagic tricky barel rolls do nothing to stop the stream of bullets pzg delivers. and i know how to aim it, how to hide myself and how to make sure chopper team is going to pay for killing me

raping helpless grunts realy doesnt make anyone good gunner. however i know many gunners [myself included] capable ofl missing a non moving tank..

and about tvgm macros - difference betwen using it and not using it is SO HUGE that i realy cant believe that somebody who tried it stopped using it

I am ok i guess,i just hate when i am the pilot,i line up the gunner for a tv shot.Instead he ****es off the tank with the machine gun...

i usually dont gun, i love to pilot.....and hitting those TV shots require a decent pilot, and some communication...

whenever i have a gunner, i tend to do the aiming for him/her for their chaingun...

i mostly fly solo anyway, and never jump to the gunner seat in-flight......

The PGZ/LineBacker/Tunguska are cheap as hell. But often I'll take them with ease if I have a good pilot - and if we can see it. Most of them times I die for AA vehix are because I didn't see them.

And as for the MG, it's very easy to kill with it IF you have a decent pilot.

Now, when you have people good with the TVGM solo-ing and facing each other, the first one to shoot wins, since while you are guiding the chopper spins, making it an easy target. BTW macros are cheap
