I will take a wait and see attitude with BF2142. "Realism" is what makes BF2 fun. I mostly don't like the idea of inventing new weapons and armor, it just seems like there will be major imbalances between classes. Not that BF2 is perfect but it is easier to balance the classes.
Hmmm, played it some where and didn't like it. I forget now. That is odd.
Now it's bugging me. Where the f*ck did I play BFV? Could have been at a L.A.N.
Same difference, I thought it felt very out of kilter. Just somthing wrong about the whole fit. The enviroments seemed very similar every time it played too, I remember that. So it was more then one map (obviously since there wasn't a demo).

Why all the negativeness towards BFV/DICE Canada? It's all over these boards (and others). I think they made a great game with BFV (eventually it became one) and their BF2 work has been outstanding in my view. BFV had a more realistic bullet-damage and that was what made it an outstanding infantry game (the vehicle based combat was crap though). 1942 was waay arcadey for my taste. The only thing that really made me buy 42 was DC and FH. And BFV prolonged its lifespan with the Point of Existence mod. So for me it's the mods that really bring these BF games to life.
Anyways enough off-topic.
BF2142 will get my attention once there's some great mods released for it. Then I will buy it.
