hi all, im from down under, and about a few weeks ago one of our servers changed a rule that effects the game play in bf2, a rule that makes the game fair, but is not listed as a rule on most servers. To give you a back round on what im talking about i will tell you. The main rule that is still in play, is that you can not attack an uncapable with anything but a kit, thus no a vechiel at all (this includes planes). Now a rule that was in place that made wake island a really good map (and one on my playing list) is that you can not arty the carrier, cause lets face it, it is not fair game to arty the carrier cause it doesnt give the USMC a chance because to start off with the map is bais towards the PLA. Anyway, the rule was in place and everything was good, untill they took it away, and now it is (not impossible to play) but it makes it harder to have a fun game. The reasoning behind it was that when you pick your kit, no matter what it is, you can attack an uncapable, and if you appily as commander, and get it, you have "commander mode" thus the commander assest become apart of your kit, thus you may be across the other side of the map and still "using a kit weapon" attack the carrier. And if you are asking me, i dont think that the commanders assest are a kit weapon!
So this is the point, getting right into the bf2 community.
Do you think that commander assest such as arty are a kit weapon?
Let me know what you think.
