I just started playing SF yesterday, and i can already say some of the maps **** me off. And their is lots of spawn whoring on the dark maps since you cant find your enemy fast enough.

I love playing SF, even the night maps. 64 player Warlord, Ghost Town, Mass Destruction, Night Flight and Devil's Perch maps are all intense. Surge is more like a vehicle-oriented Vanilla map. Leviathan and Iron Gator aren't balanced so they can be slaughters like a Vanilla Wake Island 2007. It seems to me the people that enjoy playing SF the most are squad-oriented infantry folks. Armor & air whores don't have near the toys to play with (thank goodness) and lone wolfs get wiped out by the squads.

Exactly. I've said it before, SF players tend to be a higher caliber of BF2 player.

I play SF exclusively, in fact I only play vanilla when I hit 100 hours with a particular kit and I need the badge. SF rulez. I can find plenty of servers that suit my tastes at any time of the day.

I Play SF more so than the Origional I like the whole Grappling hook and gas launcher man its awsome.. Besides if you get any good at it it will be fun any who I basically play it because of the choices you can make

SF is a blast to play online and offline. I can't wait for more maps to be completed by the community.

I especially like it using my Special Forces Unlocks mod where you get use all the unlocks and SF tools on SF and BF2 maps.

I love slow tactical moves, no rushing from CP to CP trying to run each other over with vehicles. I do hate how easily you are pointed out by the enemy commander, and a slow approach can be ruined in seconds.

I like playing SF quite a bit, problem is it's unstable/laggy a lot of the time for some reason.

Can't beat ziplines and grapple hooks in terms of fun factor

I play SF nightly. The only time I play vanilla is to play AF.

I was playing a lot of karkand to try and get my exp explosives and exp repair but ended up getting the explosives on Warlord...still need the repair badge though.

Our server is packed nightly with SF. Ghost, Mass, Surge, Iron Gator, Warlord are in the rotation.

All play just fine with my system: P4-2.8GHz-C, 2GB Dual Channel, X800XL 256MB, SATA HD's. Others with better systems say they lag so much they cant play but mine plays great. Always check for MB BIOS updates as that is what smoothed my system out.

Love SF :) Rarely play vanilla but when I do I enjoy playing with the extra unlocks (L96A1 in particular)
