Screw that, Im in a clan myself, and scrims are indeed awesome, but, I would never consider myself better, more than that, MY GAME PREFERANCE better, than an average pubbers. Thats where you ladder guys fall, you think ladders are "it", where in reality they are nothing!

Laddering is fun... the adrenaline rush is non existant for me in pubs and comes around sometimes in ladders.

Every kill means something, every win means something... unlike in public games.

Plus its nice to know that your clan was more prepared/plays better then another group of good players/friends... its quite rewarding taking home a win.

Then all I have to say is that Ive only played <10 ladder games in BF2 and I was mainly reffering to my past ladder experience in Ravenshield... we were # one for about 2 months straight at one time.

Laddering adds something for teams to work towards and aspire to, unlike pubbing...

Laddering requires teams to unite and work together a whole lot more then pubbing does.

Laddering is a huge rush unlike pubbuing... every kill means something.

Thats all I have to say, as I'm arguably drunk right now... so farewell... and dont knock each other - pubbers/ladderers... kthx

on that note, i'd like to see some little birds on oman.

If you have AF and your playing on a server that has a modified oman map with little birds, im fairly confident it wouldnt require a download. Providing things were "replaced" and not simply added. But not positive.

Time to mod the originial game boys. You know, put all the compatible stuff with BF2........AF and the other crap booster stuff into bf2.

I'd like to see someones approach to oman as mec and dealing with all the beach aa threats or maybe some littlebird tactics on harvest or roadrage. I was playing around with the little bird last night trying to maintain low altitude, like 10-20', worked quite well, but not alot of room for error.

Yep, that's how it works: they click and hold the mouse. Funny thing, they say it's not a cheat/exploit but don't want it shared or made public knowledge...

That's exactly how it works for the TVGM, hold the mouse button down instead of clicking and you can move the TVGM which is not possible to do by current means

Macro is an automated multiple keypress which is activated with one keypress. Notable one is TVGM switch. With one keypress you-

Switch seats
Switch to the missle
Launch the missile

Re: ---> I made a helicopter video <---

The TWL '2v2 chopper ladder' is fun... for about one or two matches. What is it, really?

- reach maximum possible height before engagement
- if possible, see the enemy first
- if possible, get within range first
- hope your gunner doesn't suck ass and hits his shot
- if he misses, hope your acrobatics or range don't fail you
- rinse and repeat

I mean, there's just no excitement to it, in my opinion. I'd much rather be in the thick of it with a bunch of AA/A2A and miscellaneous threats all around me on top of other helos. It's so much more fun...

Don't get me wrong, I'm with Team Double Down and we're doing fine, but it's just not my cup of tea. Perhaps my opinion would change if I was gunning instead. *shrug*

To make these 2v2 matches fun, custom maps with more acceptable altitude limitations should be used with many obstacles all around: not only would this stress the pilot's ability to fly properly in the face of environmental danger, but it would also test the gunner's proficiency with guns/missiles in a complicated area. As it stands, too many gunners are using hotclicks and macros to gain an unfair advantage: you can tell by how smooth the smoke trail is. So in reality, many of the "top teams" you're playing on TWL are using outside help: I don't want to name anyone, but it's pretty damn obvious when it's being used.

My 0.02 ...
