That might have to be a possiblity. Or buy an 80GB HDD, theyre less than $50 if you shop around, well worth it. Is the portable hard drive a 3.5" one - why dont you install that in your PC? Although now you're probably going to mention you have a laptop or something, in which case you've opened up a fresh can of worms.

yeah its a 3.5" and no its not a laptop:p

No worries, any forum members running BF2 off an external drive succesfully, please post here to let 06lochie know it can be done.
