How do you hover from flying, ive tried to slow down all the way by holding S which is what you use to take off vertically. Is there a specific way to hover after take off?

full reverse, but it takes a long time from full speed to get into a hover

I think it is slightly more difficult (but still easy) for the J-10 to kill a hovering f35. There are also times when it is useful on defence.

Then heres another one you can do to not get TK's (in the beginning again), and normally I go all the way down, and take off just 1ft above the water and cut it close. lol:

But sometimes you get teamkills when someone jumps againt the front of your jet - even if youre not moving.

If you see people waiting, that you KNOW are gonna get revenge, just know, RIGHT when you get into that jet, you are gonna pull up hard and hit S

The less time they have to TK themselves, the better.

Is there a difference between going full reverse and hovering (down key) and pressing the 'hover key' (s key)?

Does the S key just hold you at a certain height or something?

Yes, it does, anyways, you can't go full reverse on JSF, all other planes can, htat's why i don't like the JSF for dogfights.
