Just do the cooler takeoff that mitallicguitarist and i mentioned, it only works on the JSF, so take advantage of that, otherwords, if you MUST hover, get like a foot off the deck, and then move forward with full A/B.

Then heres another one you can do to not get TK's (in the beginning again), and normally I go all the way down, and take off just 1ft above the water and cut it close. lol:

I hovered in a JSF over the ground on Gulf of Oman and then got killed by an APC.
Never did it again

I like hovering a good distance away from Chinese bases and mowing down everyone with the chain gun instead of bomb raping. Rockets are easy to dodge at a far enough distance. The JSF VTOLis a lot more fun to play around with than other jets.

On certain maps, you can hover over the carrier and rape bases with infinite ammo and no overheating. A good commander can also allow you to hover over crates for you to rape airstrips.

I play antitank a lot so I love them. I can just image these guys thinking "Oh I'm gonna hover and just gun the crap out of that spawn!" :laugh:

I haven't done it yet, but I'd love to get a M95 kill on one, just to see the plane just drop...

The M95 does a great deal of damage to jets. If you see someone hovering or flying slow you should try to shoot them as many times as you can.

I think it's good fun. Can avoid the odd J10 as it zooms overhead trying to get a lock on me because I'm going to slow! Plus it's always a laff getting a clan mate to jump on the nose and to taxi him across from the carrier :)

How do you hover from flying, ive tried to slow down all the way by holding S which is what you use to take off vertically. Is there a specific way to hover after take off?
