I'd say the G3 is a good unlock, awesome all-round gun, if not that the spec-ops one is good. Don't go for the medic one, the L85, I was so dissapointed with it

PKM, you can take out light vehicles and choppers with that thing. If you want an assault rifle though try the L85, its nice and has a 4x magnification SUSAT scope on it.

Get the g36e -> best allround-weapon imo.

You cant get that with your 'first' unlock. You can get it at the same time if you played AF for at least one round, then you get two unlocks at PFC. Anyways, i would reccomend the G3, or PKM (not as good as before the nerf though) also, the G36C, which has like no recoil lol. And spec ops was nerfed, how, why, and when???

I know you said "no shotguns", but the DAO12 rocks the house. 8-9 quick rounds even from 100m away will take out all infantry.

I would have said G36C if Spec Ops didnt get nerfed.

PKM is nice but youll love it or hate it..it isnt a "regular" stand a shoot gun...make insta prone your friend.
G3..unless your accurate some body with a bigger clip will smoke you.
L85..crap..IMO crapiest medic gun, G36E best gun ingame..only rival is the AK series.
If I was you..Id say get the M95 so you have a sniper rifle for matches your PLA or MEC since you wont have the M24..and if that doesnt sound good get the DAO-12, much better then any standard AT gun.

Last resort as a good "assualt" first unlock..G36C..basically its the best gun in the game (G36E) toned down. Youll basically be a medic with a weaker gun and C4 instead of insta heals.

Best gun 'toned down' wouldn't say toned down, it's more accurate than the G36E, and has full auto. Not exactly toned down imo, it's only toned down in damage.

BTW, what got nerfed, did the G36C get nerfed (which it didn't, as i know) or did spec ops get nerfed, and hhow?

Spec Ops Gun - G36c is outstanding, it wasn't nerfed. The C4 throwing was nerfed and the blast radius was reduced.

WEll, they made it so you couldn't throw or fire anything in the air (nades you still can cuz you actually click before you jump. If the nerf is only that, then i say the G36C is still a great option, with second to none full auto accuracy.

i have a few unlocks, special forces, dao-12, g3, and the l8a5 watever it is. The g3 is a beast, it cant be beat in mid range shots, the only problem is that it runs out of amo to quickly. the g36c is a great gun, real accurate, little kick, and decent power. i dont like the medic gun, not powerfull enough and on full auto, its immpossible to hit anyone. the dao is great if you like shotguns, i just got it cause i couldn't stand the normal AT gun

I am highly interested in the G3 now from all of these reviews I am hearing. Can't wait to get it unlocked!
