Chose the upgrade for the class that you play the most.
All weapons have their advantages and disadvantages.

As alphanut is saying. Don't pick up a weapon just cause everyone is using. Pick one from the class which you use the most. That super weapon doesnt exist. Every weapon has it's negative and positive sides. And it comes to what you fell its the best

I am unsure about the P90. It has a bigger clip, and slower draw time, but neither of those makes a huge difference. The accuracy is also slightly higher and the zoom slightly higher than the MP5 et al. but does that make a huge difference?
You can pretend you're in SG1, but I don't know if it's that useful when your primary role is anti vehicle and you can carry the DAO for mashing people up in buildings. You're a little vulnerable at mid range (too close for a missile shot, too far for a shotgun) but would it really make a huge difference just to use an MP5 if the need arises?

Then the rest pretty evenly. Since I'm happy with the DAO in that role, that does then point to the G36E. But I like the idea of flashbangs in regular BF2.

I'll go play some SF and weigh up the G36E vs the F2000 I think.

i love my g36e its a great killing gun and no need to prone to improve the accuracy as the 3 round burst cuts down on bullet spread

so side strafe and rip em up and being the medic heal thyself

if u want to rack up some points fast then medic and g36e and the f2000 is a great assault gun too

if he likes to med who cares why do they become medic whores i say more meds the better because meds save tickets meds save my kdr meds keep me at full health so i can get some more kills a couple of good medics can turn the tide of a fight

I gave the G36E a go last night and was most impressed. I did not appreciate from reading the stats as Gergnoodle said, the 3 round burst makes all the difference.
It only does 32 damage to the L85's 34, but in one squeeze I do 96 damage as the 3 rounds all land on target with one parp even without using the sights!
I've found that I can compete as almost an assault class. Especially with the ability to heal myself afterwards.
I would like the flashbangs, but since the F2000 itself is not as good as the G3 in power and accuracy, and the noobtoob is nice, but not that essential anymore, I htink I'll go for the G36E for now, earn tons of points as a medic and then get the F2000 when I've earnt my 12,000 points!

i think you should go for the Dao 12 if you're an anti tank person if not go for the medic first unlock and then assault. It's a choice! But for me i unlocked Dao12, sniper m95. Only corporal for now. Go for G36E i reckon, well people often use specialist so G36E is one of your good choice, youlle prob get more points with it, easier for the next rank

Depending on how much I fly jets (which has been... really low lately), on the weeks I fly alot I can get like almost 8k points on a really good week.

If you could graph my SMG kills since 1.2 (the patch that introduced the P90, for those who don't know) then you would see that they've almost doubled in that short time.

The P90 is the perfect weapon for maps like OCS, Zatar.. basically any map where you won't run into dudes at close range (therefore nullifying the DAO's effectiveness).

Of all the guns you can select, I suggest P90.

EDIT: well, if you've already selected the G36E (I don't use it, prefer the ak101) then I can only suggest you pick up the P90 NEXT time. F2000 is good, but not that much better in practicality than any other assault rifle.
