If you are in a APC, go engineer and whatever you do, do not leave it....
If you go down, go down with it!

People who take a death as opposed to leaving the vehicle while they can die out of sheer stupidity too much. If you are in a vehicle and it begins to burn, get the heck outta dodge! Staying in it guarantees you die, the vehicle will explode soon, you will get hit again and die or you can hop out and seek cover. Seems simple to me. Why take a death when you don't have to? Why give them the kill? I guess those same people think you should stand still if you're in a firefight and run out of ammo? Take the death? Some of us don't like getting killed. ROFL.

As far as vehicles you're driving killing you, it happens all the time. Bail out of a BH and take serious damage from it. Bail out of a boat on land and take damage or possibly die from it. Hop out of a moving vehicle and get run over by it. Hop out too close to a wall and die from the vehicle squishing you. Get out of a vehicle on an incline and die from it rolling backwards over you.

Most of this stuff happens to everyone. It is relative to how much time you spend in the vehicles. If you use transport a lot, chances are you see this stuff happen more often than others do.

same it has happened to me. I wouldnt say it is a huge problem but it is a real pain. When you take a jetski all the way to the enemys base and get run over by it.

Then I jump out and run away to avoid blowing up with it. The thing that really pi$$es me off is that sometimes when I jump out of the vechile and start running, I am actually running into the vechile.

How F@CKEN stupid is that?? Why would I be running into a vechile I have just jumped out of? Who the hell sets things up like this? Have you experienced this too or am I just that "lucky"? How can I avoid this from happening besides jumping out of a vechile sooner?
my advice, jump out as soon has the health bar goes to red...1 bar is beyond any hope, even 3 bars does not guarantee

Never abandon armor while under fire if there's the slightest chance it will be stolen and repaired. Chances are you are taking fire from enemy armor driven by an engineer. An enemy foot soldier need only hop in and roll it a few feet to his teammate to start the repair process.

And should you be lucky enough to steal the enemy's armor, do not use it on the front lines unless your team has control of the spawn point from which it originated. You do far more good depriving the enemy of their main battle tank for the entire round than you do by using it for a single spawn on the front line. I've stolen my share of tanks and it's always gratifying to see the message "where's our tank?" in red.

That's what my rant is about. I do exactly what you wrote but sometimes when I jump out to run away from the vechile (while it is starting to smoke), instead of hoping out of the vehicle, I come out FACING the vehicle I am actually trying to get away from. Which just ends up blowing up in my face and killing me.

I do the following..... Press my "E" key and then immediately afterwards I press my "W" key to run away. Again, I do this but end up running back into the darn thing I am trying to get away from. By the time I readjust its too late and then boom, I am dead =/.

Its to let you know to stop being a ***** and die with your ride. Who knows how many times I seen people jump out of thier jets and see them spletter all over my jet.

its happened to me once......i dont get it....

another strange phenomanon, is when i bail out of the attack heli, when its less that 3 bars, and no way to repair, ill bail out, but not deploy my chute, so i can spawn with the heli, and depreive the guy of a kill......for some reason whoever else is in the heli gets a teamkill for that.....for staying in the heli....

getting a teamkill for my fall-damage......wtf is wit that?

not dont go abusing this ppl, to force TKs :p

                    Common Sense:
When you jump out of the driver side dont't hit the right arrow.
When you jump out of the passenger side don't hit the left arrow.
You will run into the moving vehicle killing you instantly.

The other thing you should do is look bothways before crossing the runway, you might get hit by a plane.
