Assault Rifle K/D?

I've noticed that alot of people (including myself) rate people's infantry skill at a glance by their assault rifle kill to death ratio. I think this is because assault rifles are accurate and balanced and able to be used in nearly every situation.

In your opinion, what is a

I think that is average to good.

to me,

Poor is <0.6

Average is ~0.6 to ~1

Good is ~1 to ~2

'Excellent' is a hazy point.. it depends on how the person plays. I've seen nubs with crap aim get a KDR of 2.5 because they prone spam and prone jump. In the account that i posted, i never once intentionally prone exploit/spammed, or pronejumped in an infantry battle. For that type of player who doesn't exploit the game like that, IMO a KDR of >3 is excellent. For someone who does exploit that way, a KDR of >5 is excellent.

I rarely ever USE that kit... but my ratios are all low anyway... few weapons where I have it above 1:1 in fact! :) *Someone* has to be the "1" to other people's "2" in their nice 2:1 ratios I guess.

Besides with all the aimbotting out there, it's quite a few deaths before one can be sure the other person is playing fair anyway. Damn MSX anyway. I truly despise that site and the person(people) behind it.

Mine is about 1.0.

KDR with one weapon, IMHO, isnt a very important or practical measure of performance. Not for me anyway... check back in 6 months.

Yeah, my assault rifle K/D ratio is horrible... er, "poor." .4213... but then again, none of my weapon K/D are that good.

1-2 is good. Anything above 1.2 is excellent.

It would be very hard to get any higher than 1.5 without cheating. I'm talking about players with thousands of kills, not afew hundred.

I am currently on 1.67 with Assault Rifles, but it's increasing slightly. I made 6704 kills so far.

mine would be qite low. you spawn with your assult rifle out, so if you get spawncamped, its another death for your rifle

For example; Every time you think you're going to die, switch to your pistol, or knife. Or you could go out, and try killing 2 people, then dying once with the assault rifle in your hands. Rins and repeat, until your k/d ratio is 2:1
