Why doesn't BF2 have female soldier models?

In the army or whatever, there are such things as women :o
And these 'women/girls/ladies' play BF2. But why does the game only have male soldiers? Why not female as well?

I know a few girls who play BF2 and i bet they'd like a female soldier to play as.

I wondered this too. Probably because the majority of grunts aren't women.

You might as well ask why there aren't any Mexicans on the USMC, and why only anti-tank and assault troops are black. But that's another thread.

technically women are not combat soldiers, they do things like driving, flying, etc, but they dont get put in infantry roles where they go on missions soley to fight. Sometimes they get in fights by being in the wrong place at the wrong time, like in iraq. Plus, most gamers are guys.

How is it racist? Are you saying the caucasian guys get all the light jobs (sniper, spec ops, engy, medic) while the african americans get the heavy jobs (suport, AT, Assault)?

What he said. Since everything else is real-life things (the armor, weapons, jets, etc...), it would look a bit strange fighting next to a woman. I'm not sexist at all, I'm just stating the truth :p

Probably because they didn't want the minimum memory requirement to be 3 gig of ram.

It already takes a gig and half to run high quality at decent resolution.
