They should've made it like in BF:V where you could pick whether you were black or white.

None of the classes in BF2 are MOS's (military occupation specialties) that are offered to Females in the service. Sure the MOS's that Women can do will no doubt bring them to a combat zone and even enable them to see some combat by chance. But they are not eligible to enlist for jobs such as infantry, combat engineer, special forces, snipers, combat corpsman. They can enlist as a hospital corpsman, but will not being given assignments that put them in the field with Marines. They will be a hospital Corpsman.

Hmm I think they should have just randomized it. For example, if you pick Assault, it randomizes a skin color and what you get is what you get, plus, its not like you would notice =/ Or do it like MOHAA where you can just pick what skin you want all together.

I wondered this too. Probably because the majority of grunts aren't women.

You might as well ask why there aren't any Mexicans on the USMC, and why only anti-tank and assault troops are black. But that's another thread.

I bet, if someone could edit the character models and frames, then there could be females modded. I have no knowledge of such things other than the end product.

Jeez. 2nd page an no one has even come close to adressing the real reason why female models would be a bad thing for BF2.

Think for a moment about the resource requirements involved.
You'd need twice the number of player models, twice the voices, twice the animations. With BF2 already right up against the wall in terms of being a resource hog, this is not a good idea especially when you consider the pay off. Would female player models really have an impact on gameplay? Would it be worth removing vehicles/geomitry/map textures just so you could play as a cosmeticly different model?

Simply put, it would be a bad investment in terms of resource requirments (lots) vs added gameplay (almost none).

because no one would choose them, they would be weaker, they would whine alot, they would be slower, and they would faint whenever they see someone get killed, and would be too much of a sensative drama queen to kill anyone.....they would need to carry lighter weapons, and would die more as a result....they would be too busy trying to fratanize with the male soldiers....they would have to add purses, makup, tampons etc...to the game to accomidate these womens which would demand more resources.....the female models are at home preparing dinner, and cleaning the house....also, everyone knows boys are better at everything than girls.....duh
