I'm just posting an answer to a question and some useful information.

What do *I* think?

I think if you like that sort of gameplay, then do WHATEVER YOU WANT on an unraked server. No way you could call it stat padding then. Nobody is stopping you or anybody else from this sort of behaviour.

with ***** using such ambiguous nomenclature as "High Points" servers, I feel the onus is on the powers that be to identify it so we know exactly what it is we are avoiding...

16 people on a 64 person map makes for longer matches which generally result in high scores, but nothing inherent about the style of play is affecting the scores...just the time players are given to amass them.

Playing 10 rounds at 40 points apiece in 2 hours versus playing 2 rounds at 200 points apiece in 2 hours results in the same thing, am I right?

It is this players opinion that the restriction on "High Points" servers should be lifted or more clearly defined.

Well now that is a professional opinion Ali G... if you don't agree with it that is one thing. But even if you don't StatPadding WILL get you caught and it WILL result in account being dealt with.

And no, 16 players on 64 player servers is NOT stat padding. They may say high points but why would that make it different from the same server that didn't say high points?
