Unless all spawns are covered by tanks then y'all who hate spawn camping can't complain. I hate spawn camping as much as everyone but I look for a solution and not complain complain complain...

No one is complaining about spawncamping, I simply referenced it in relation to calling infantry only stats padding.

What type of servers do play?

Join a 64 man server that has 20 players on it,it will go a good 45 mins if not longer

That's a dumb way to prove anything, if you can't get a certain badge playing a proper round, then don't that say thing? Maybe like you don't deserve it?

Well if a long round server is not allowed how in the hell are you supposed to get the "Combat Action Medal" where you need to have 33 minutes IAR. I have been playing about a year now and have never had a normal server go for that long.

Well if a long round/high point server is not allowed how in the hell are you supposed to get the "Combat Action Medal" where you need to have 33 minutes IAR. I have been playing about a year now and have never had a normal server go for that long.

So if EA maps a map with nothing but Infantry and no tanks then that would be stat padding?

If you cant handle armor on the modern battlefield then dont play BF2 or go buy CSS or something similar.

Yea, no need to pit your skill up against other players with only your reflexes and aim to get you by. Isn't it a bit hypocritical to call infantry "stat padding", but when you sit there camping in armor it's "just how the game is"?

And you can bet that the new 'infantry only' setting will not be allowed on ranked servers. Private servers only.

The proof will be in the pudding. I think it will be a ranked option.

now that theyve changed the requirements for alot of the badges is there any point of stat padding any more?NO.
not that i agree with stat padding or done it my self.
stat padders just take the hard work an self acheivments out of the game.
i for one dont see any point in reporting padders any more there are more important problems that need sorting out first like all the bugs an glitch's that came with 1.3 crap patch.
