Same problem here.Have re-installed BF2 in safe mode,Applied full 1.3 patch,shut down all anti virus and firewalls updated punkbuster, defragged,prayed to god and still get kicked, usually towards the end of a game when the most points are on offer,well done EA games for tacking a concept i have waited years to see and totally ruining it.Fix the game and change your profit only attitude,in the long run you hurt only yourselves as i will never buy another EA game as long as i live.

EA/DICE are releasing a new patch very soon to hopefully fix all this...as of now just ensure you're running the full patch and your system is defragged and you shouldn't have as many problems.

Although sf is more prone to connection issues than vanilla or af. I tend to get about 8-10 games in on vanilla with no problems and 5-6 on sf and 10-12 on af.

Well I also had this connection lost problem. I wasn't even able to move and after few seconds dissconnect. So I've started to messing with my router/network configuration. Port forwardong - no use, BF2 reinstal, full patch over incremental - no use. Changing windows network settins - yeah it works!

I don't know if EA changed something in the last patch, or did my ISP screw something else but I know that changing default MTU size from 1500 to something below 1400 (yeah to evry IT specialist here, its weird) help me to resolve my problem. Now if I reset this optiom back to 1500 (and I'm on broadband it should be set like that!) I'm screwd, when change it to sth like 1300 I can play with no problem at all so its not coincidence (in my case that is) moving down with this value got me ping like 60 but a bit capped maximum download speed, well I don't care since I can't dl anything while killing others in BF2!

Now for some knowledge go to this web, it generaly helps with all kind of network problems and they not only give you solution, they willl feed you with some raw knowledge so you'll what you're changing

i have this same problem alot.... in fact , i came here to look for others having the same problem. I thought it was some kinda mani plugin... cuz it always seems to happen when im rapin the main base or pwning admins. well.... i pwn all the time so .... but anyways... this fu**in suck, we need to make sure to ***** enough so dice takes it seriously and fixes it. :laugh: make more bugs is more like it..... im just waiting for crysis

Wow dude. I don't believe it. Sounds really wierd, I know, but this worked for me. I was out of the game for about a month because I would constantly lose connection to the server, and somehow this worked. My advice is if you've tried everything else, and it doesn't work, then surely try this. Thanks man!

A couple of things that have helped since i last posted.
1: Manually updating punkbuster.
2:Find a good server that works for you and stick with it(i can play for hours on the one server, no problems)Changing servers seems to be asking for trouble.
3:Throw the game in the garbage and wait for crysis or armed assault to come out.

You made two posts of the same topic? Anyways, my clan member has the same problem. But it doesnt kick him it just says Connection Problem for like 10 seconds than disappears and he can play agian.
