I think I'll go for general. I'm more or less into compedative play right now. Thats what I'm rootin' for. Right now I'm a First L. at around 85,000 points.

If I make it up there by the time 2142 comes out then I'll have it. I'll still work on it here and there to get the general... but not as much. As long as I don't end up on a sh1t eagle or shi7 leaf I'll be good.

Nothing special about getting general. It's just a rank.

I'm just playing for fun and getting good stats....with the guns i mean. Anyone can get a good score in a tank.

I probably won't go any further then Gunny. I need a knife badge for First Sargent. I remap my knife so it can't be reached, because it's essentially a novelty item when it comes to game play. Always has been in every FPS I've ever played, the BF series is no different. I suppose there's the rare situation where it comes in handy but I've always mapped my knife away from my primary keys for something used more often, and more useful. There's always the scroll but that's far too slow and I map my weapons as individual keys.

I play to win the map, if we don't, then so be it. I don't see any alternative motivation other then that. If I make a rank along the way then fine, if not I could give two ****s.

General? Forget it, who cares.

Maybe some system could be devised where a player can check or uncheck a box in their options that would indicate they are going for points. Your tag would display differently from others just playing the game. That way we could avoid getting in each others ways. We'd know not to assist you because the favor probably wouldn't be returned.
