Our server fills back up as well but this is acceptable to you? You seem like you are content with this. My god man, you are a wet dream for EA. Keep throwing money at them for an inferior product.
Their product was made faulty because of complaining, not unlike what you're doing right now, demanding that they fix it now, now, now, instead of getting it right. The customer has put such a demand on fixing things, that the publisher pushes the developer to move faster than they should, because they want the money to keep rolling in.
I don't pay for it, the guy that does loves the game and is loaded, so he could careless, and if I did, it wouldn't be a smacktard breeding groud 64 slot server anyway. My point is, I'm not going to stop playing because the game changes a little, or sometimes crashes, it's just to easy to double click the icon again and continue playing. I don't really care about losing points because of crashes, which seems to annoying a lot of people. The crashes themselves are a little annoying, but generally I get one when I first start up, and that's about it. Connection problems, I don't play many 64 player servers anymore outside of the one I admin on, and those seem to be the ones effected the most. Until last night the browser issues didn't bother me because I don't use it, but I accidently refreshed my favorites and now they're gone, so eh, that sucked.
Given impending release of 2142, only makes sense that they make amends to the user base for the latest patch. ****ed off people more heesitant to buy products. Also makes sense of an open beta to maybe maybe recruit some quality beta testers that could also be used in beta for the 2142 product. Do well at actaully beta TESTING, not beta PLAYING, report some quality bugs and who knows, you may be asked to beta for 2142.

I wouldn't exactly call it inferior... Inferior to what? Joint Ops? What other alternatives are there? Yeah it has some major problems but name me a comparable game that doesn't.

This is great news, especially about the unlocks. I guess ea does listen if we bitch loud enough.
I guess that EA should already have done a game that doesn't even need to be patched after all this "bitching" :) . I'll be looking forward to hear from the Battlefield 2142 scene that half of the players can't even start their brand new BF2142 games .

Has it been turned over to dice sweden so it could possibly be patched correctly? I have ZERO faith that dice canada could write enough good code to fill an index card.
