Sorry but this is probably a Brits only-thread but thought it might be fun after being given the idea by Nimbob in another post. So, if England players played BF2, how would they play...

Crouch - Plane whore - you drop enough bombs, you're bound to hit something. Eventually.

Theo Walcott - He can't play, his mum says it's too violent for someone his age

Rooney - Medic (oh if only it were real)

Gerrard - Balls-out assault

Ferdinand - Spawn Camper (dunno why, I just get the feeling...)

Heh, good idea this.

Gary Neville - Upon capping a flag he runs over to the opposition and shows his team pride, promply getting shot in the process.

Sol Campbell - Once a l33t four star general, now goes AWOL, prones far away from the fighting and has a bit of a cry.

Beckham - He'd probably be quite useful as a sniper.

Joe Cole - Spec Ops, lots of windy runs past the opposing team. Sometimes he beats a man, but in the world of BF2 simply being able to run past a person doesn't really count as good, so he gets P90'd very quickly.

Eriksson - A commander/admin so full of his percieved tactical genius he vehicle drops in a diamond formation and orders all squads to adhere to his 'bold' and 'maverick' field decisions.

I was thinking about Becks as a sniper too but sometimes he's full-on assault so maybe he's an assault playing with a sniper kit :-)

To the rest of the world its called Football, y'know because you kick it with your foot. Why the yanks call American Football Football is beyond me, especially when the ball is thrown as opposed to kicked (like FOOTball).

You may think its boring, but the rest of the world clearly doesnt, should try looking at a globe sometime....youd be amazed to find their are other countries outisde of your own

Id like to see an American 'Football' team play a good old fashion Rugby Union team....i know who my money would be on. Who needs padding...

I'm British, and I think football is overrated (then again, so is that woman's sport you call American Football). Baseball is another overrated game - in the UK it's called rounders, and is played by school girls.

well said, i loath the word soccer.........and if it was left to the americans to run the world cup only teams from america would be able to play in it like their world series! lol
