I did 3 humans and 8 bots vs 24 bots this afternoon on Oman.. Bots were at like 80% I think. I got in the tank and just blasted em all round.. I think we had it up at like 200 or 250% tickets. I ended up with 120 kills and my tank gunner had 53. Great stress reliever
Infantry vs infantry at 100% difficulty and the bots will wax your butt.
I like starting up a co-op game with 48 bots all on my team lead them somewhere and blow them all up with c4 at the same time. Loads of fun seeing them fly.
I had a go the other night by creating a local co-op server and actually had quite a good time. It was fun wasting lots of bots and getting to drive whatever vehicle I liked, etc. It was fun trying to get x number of kills with x weapon then move on to Y weapon, etc.
The one shame was that no one (well, no bot) seemed to want to fly me around in the Cobra and point me at targets so I could practise gunning.
It got old pretty quickly tho and I still dont understand why it was decided to waste precious development time adding it in. Plus, the server crashed during EVERY round which made it rather less fun.

I'm sure there was very little development work needed. After all, the functionality was already there; all they needed to do was expose it in the interface. Even before 1.3 you could play co-op; you just couldn't see it in the browser and you needed to edit files to change the server settings. Modding the maps to support the new mode takes all of a couple of minutes each. What would have been a large effort would be if they had released 64-player size maps for co-op and SP but those have already been done by the user community.
