As the title suggests, I gave the co-op game type a try last night. Figured I'd just goof off 'n have some fun spanking bots. I'm pleased to say, that's exactly what happened.
I had a hella lotta fun fighting it out with insane numbers of bots spewing out of spaw points. I don't think the difficulty was exactly maxed since I got away with a lot of stuff that I shouldn't have, but just the raw number of squishy targets to put down was a riot! Jumping into the middile of 8 bots with your knife drawn and trying to dance 'em all to death is great. Setting up a good firing position with a SAW and just mowing down droves of 'em is pure cranel entertainment. 'Nade spam? Whoooooya.
Anyway, if you haven't tried it out, go for it.
It wasn't a challenge, but it was a lot of good old fun!
One note; Bots are much better at taking out vehicles than players on foot. It's scary seeing 6 to 8 anti-vehicle missiles come streakin towards you the moment you come around the corner!
