Yeah, Road to Jalalabad is supposed to be in patch 1.4. At least that's something.

Unfortunately its because they screwed up and not to show appreciation for our business.

A map out of Vietnam was where it was in a very bushy jungle with little streams going round the middle island, that would be a good map,as it would get ppl using the boats more. PS i fink we need new boats. They look the same for all 3 countries.

if a map like phillipines would work d(EA)ice would need to give us new or upgraded water, remember alot of the phillipines was naval combat, how would they replicate the PT boats in BF2?

Vietnam is the most underrated BF game. It had so many good maps. I know of the map you're talking about but I don't remember the name of it. One map from there would be nice considering they did Wake for BF:1942

Yeah, we even got a new airplane (The Junkers Bomber) with Battle of Britain. Fat chance we'll ever see a free new vehicle in BF2.

Oh man, I'd go allied and jump into the Junker and camp the german base, shooting everything.

Seriously that was like one of the best maps on BF1942, if not the best. Class map.. loads of variety, and there was always one spot where the fighting would be centered, unless someone caught a flag somewhere else.. then it would switch over. Plus the competition for the airfield, always changing hands. Another map like that would be awesome.

ya it was a good map...and would have been more applicable to the senario of bf2 than wake

All these are great ideas! I just wouldn't mind EA or DICE making an extra map pack for the community. I just have a fuzzy feeling inside right now. :laugh:

Imagine if they made every BF1942 map (and DC map) for the BF2 engine, and took out the ranking system. I'd probably never stop playing it.

Id love if ea would get with the community, like look at all the free maps that TotalBF2 offered in packs. Theres also many other sites that have some, so why cant ea ask and add it as a official map in a next patch.
