We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
Where? All I can find on the Creative website are the beta drivers form Nov. 11, 05. Without proper X-Fi drivers I'm not touching Vista, but I wanna try it.
Also which support/tech center website for the dual boot thing?
i have vista and bf2 runs perfectly, i know there was some confusion but on my everything runs fine and bf2 runs at 60fps- with v sync
You don't have Vista, you have vista-beta. And Vista will take years upon years to actually be implemented into any networks to where it matters if you have the OS or not. Do you know how many networks still operate on windows server-2000?
Utilize an OS that has already been integrated into the world or you will eventually fu** yourself with one thing or another.
like every single other OS that was released vista will be stable 1 or 2 years down the road. At release it's gonna have more bugs than a hollow log. During that time is when we'll most likely see a few dx10 games come out so I'm not worried about getting it when it comes out. I have absolutely no problems with XP. After gaming on ME for 3 years I'm still grateful everyday for XP :)
Im running beta 2 of vista 64 bit, dual boot with xp home, and it seems to work ok. Beta1 had a hellof a lot of bugs, but i havnt found any with beta 2 yet. Only problem ive found sofar vista uses lot of memory and takes a bit longer to load
Anyone know how i can run bf2 on vista, using the install for xp? Without reinstalling?

Holy crap, someone who used ME for 3 years? Dude you are my unicorn :P
Driver Support: errr well...Chipset (nforce 2 Ultra) and GPU ( 6800GT) found. Monitor driver wont install, use "Generic PNP", Audigy 4 drivers from Creative work more or less.
Performance: None found yet. I mean...it takes ages to boot, the "Start" button doesnt slide open its lags like a bad GIF file, takes ages to shut down.
It says "We can confirm that u cant connect to the Internet" while browsing the WWW *rolleyes*. It eats a HELL of a lot RAM. Desktop-manager alone eats 50 MB.
BF2 Performance: Singelplayers works ok with both default OS or Nvidia GPU drivers, Multiplayer wont load up with default OS driver, Crash @ ~61% Geometry loading. Tried new GPU drivers from Nvidia, Multiplayer starts up @ aprox. 10 FPS after aprox. 7 minutes while AND after Optimizing, no Voice over IP because the Voice-over-IP Setup tool crash all the time. No CTDs so far while playing/join.
User Friendly: yes....after some time...maybe. Needs some practice.
Eyecandy: Hell of a lot. Looks good.
Other Games: NO chance. "Dx9_blabla.dll not found"
System:
XP3000+ 32 bit CPU
Nforce 2 Ultra
2 GB DDR 400 RAM
6800 GT
Audigy 2
Vistas Performance rating: 3 (5 for GPU)
It cracks me up to read these posts where people complain about bugs in Vista and say they uninstalled Vista  .
Thats why its called PUBLIC BETA 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. The whole idea is install it on a seconday HD or system and provide feedback to Microsoft!. The reason for public beta is to help developers get the software retail. OF COURSE IT HAS BUGS!! When you guys install Vista then come here and post such sillyness, you're not really helping the process.
Those of you that posted this stuff shouldn't be installing beta products on your computers in the 1st place. I don't know what you're expecting, but obviously you don't fully understand the beta process, and shouldn't be signing up to recieve this software.
I run Vista on a secondary HD. I do not play games because Vista isn't really ready for that. My X-Fi doesn't work, and Microsoft knows about it. My N-Force4 is missing some drivers and Microsoft knows about that too. Windows Mail is dead and Microsoft has recieved the error log. I am using the Beta Vista to help the process, so it can improve. The rest is up to Microsoft.
I use linux! W00t no need for an antivirus because linux is the hacker's tool of choice!(Distro). Game developers need to start writing games for linux. Hell, I would buy them. Just look at how popular ET is and it's free!

Exactly, except for the stability part, stable on what? PC's at home? yea, Wan's? VPN's? no.
