I uninstalled Vista, because there is no driver for my soundcard, so no sound. Also all the bugs in Vista because it's a Beta. XP FTW!

Do you have to re-install BF2 and everything once u install it? How easy is it to revert back to XP??

you install vista on a seperate partition so you can dual boot, theres a thread about it in the Support forum > Tech Centre

No, it was part of the installation. Many people expirience a long blew/ black screen when booting the first time.

tried vista, but vista + creative x-fi = horrible

Plus I couldn't install my nvidia drivers. I just gave up.

If you installed it and it seemed laggy, then give it a day or so. It indexes the entire drive so until this is done you are not seeing its full potential. I am running 64 bit vista and it blows xp away once it settles. The x-fi thing is a waste but luckly I still have onboard sound. BF2 actually runs better in Vista. My verifing client takes like 2 sec where with xp it is much longer.
If you are having problems installing the drivers make sure to load into safe mode and try again. Did that and they install flawlessly.

It comes bundled free with copies of Windows Me :P
