There are a lot more servers running both EF an AF now; I still enjoy the EF maps. A couple 64 player servers who were doing AF reverted back to EF; I think one of them was La Cantina(good server) and some others did in my favorites list. I still enjoy EF but kind of got over the infantry map Great Wall; just too much walking inbetween places.

ok this is odd i looked on game-monitor and found only right now RANKED 5 servers with people in them in the ENTIRE world.. 4 being in the USA and 1 in UK

It has been very much dead for quite awhile, when I was trying to find servers that played EF, there wern't that many, actually there were very few, though I liked the gameplay that EF introduced...

i wish a server owner would create a server that plays the best of regular bf2 and EF and AF. I think they will most likly be combined by the servers in a few months. people eventualy get tired of just 3 maps.

i think Karkand, Sharqi and Oman are the Best maps ever created...that pretty much encompasses what a battlefield should be

I think Euro Force is way better than Armored Fury. All the maps are good, and the Great Wall map is great. By contrast, Armored Fury has only one half-decent map; Operation Harvest. The other two just plain suck. The new jets also suck... the regular bombers are way more powerful. Not only do they have more bombs, and fly faster, but they also get a gunner seat that gets TV missles (which own). The scout helicopters are equally worthless. They don't even have enough firepower to kill an FAV (beleive me, I tried!!) and they handle worse than a Cobra (although slightly better than Havoc/Eurocopter).

Imo, the only good thing about this booster pack is the loading music. Everything else is a sea of mediocrity.

No disrespect, dude, but what are you smoking? LOL! I agree that Great Wall was a good map, but Taraba Quarry was a meat-grinding stalemate (flying a plane was the only part of it that I could tolerate), and Smoke Screen was OK, but very prone to gay-ass AA airfield raping (which especially sucked since it was the only map with the Tiger HAP).

I think the new jets are fine, just a little more challenging. Its not super easy to rack up the insane kill counts the way it is with a bomber. Which is OK, IMO, because those bombers made playing unbearable for a lot of people--I'm pretty sure it's the main reason that nobody liked Operation Clean Sweep (the lack of AA made it that much worse, too). And BTW, I say that as a self-admitted airwhore.

The scout choppers are also not worthless--its hard to take out cars, yes, but usually you can just kill the driver or gunner without blowing it up, as it SHREDS infantry the way the blackhawk guns used to, before 1.2. It also tears through attack choppers, and its maneuverability/small profile makes it hard for them to hit back--I've already killed several of them, and I'm not even that good with it yet. BTW, the handling is fine, it just takes some getting used to. Keep in mind that they handle best at slower speeds, as they're really meant for flying low and slaughtering enemy infantry while supporting your own.

As for the AF maps, I can see why you'd complain about Midnight Sun (all those trees are a real headache for aircraft), but so far I think you're the only person I've encountered on here that didn't like Road Rage (again, no disrespect, you're entitled to your opinion, I'm just saying).

Oh and as others have said, it does seem like a lot more people are running EF servers now, just mixed with AF (and some with vanilla too).
