The Karkand Fog?

Hi,

Is it just me or does any one else find the strange haze effect annoying as hell.
Is there a way to adjust your settings to minimise its effect?

Also BF2 always runs darker than my desktop it there a way to change the brightness, contrast or gamma just for in game use as my desktop seems to be ok but BF2 is always very dark.

Ive STILL to this very day - NEVER been able to find a Karkland map...anywhere...

You can make your view distance scale at 100% (default I believe is 90%), it helps but it's still rather hazey. I suppose it helps but at about 50meters whatever I'm looking at (no zoom) is apparently not there :hmm: .

110% or 120% on karkand would be a little more bearable IMHO.

I turned it off for single player Mashtuur. Made sniping much more interesting... Hehe.

I believe there is a Contrast/Brightness setting in the Video Options screen. Have a look if you have not done so already.

Regarding fog. You'll just have to deal with it.

Max out view distance and geometries to see the furthest. Anymore and you would be hacking. Don't ask for for any more advantages than what's possible.
