Albeit, you are right though. I would like to see different weather conditions that would permit the BF to change some.

there were some WIP weather proccesses added into the latest BFeditor,

for instance lightning-


and rain-

[NOTE:the rain is still a WIP and doesnt have any textures(note the boxes in the pic) and it only works in the debugger of BF2)

also I have a pretty crappy computer and didnt get ANY performance drops with the rain :)

Sweet! I wonder if this is technology they are working in from break-throughs on 2142, or did they just buy technology from a 3rd party, like the rag-doll effects. Oh! if we can get a good community mod rank system going, this would be great to see built in!

Great examples, but I am concerned because I see you have some of your textures turned down some, looking at your terrain.

theres little difference if i crank them up, i use low because i only have 1gb of ram and i get swapping stutters.

even on open maps with little/no fog with 64 players i still get 100fps.
