Am i the only one that wishes BF2 had blood and graphic violence?Has anyone played Day of Defeat?I love the splatter effect on that game.And what is with the NO-CURSING on most servers?I realize that i am not paying the bill for the server so i dont make the rules... We all play a game that simulates death and destruction.But we cant curse while doing it,lol.Just thought it was weird.

Yup, I would love to have this. Or something like running behide a jet as its taking off and you get toasted by the flames. Or when you hit someone in a car the blood splaters over the windscreen. Or when you are flying a helo and get sniped out of it and blood covers the cockpit of the helo.

I dont particularily care.
Altho it has benefits and disadvantages:
Pros:
-Could look cool.
-Game gets higher rating so there is less 9yr old n00bs.
Cons:
-Mega Lag
-Its EA! You can imagine what will happen if they tried to implement it.Comment

Rofl, yeah that makes sence. I would love to have some blood as well, but not overdone. I don't know if I would trust EA with making blood.... I mean, if they skrew it up and you knife someones throat and it starts to spray everywhere for like 5 minutes...that would suck. :laugh:Originally posted by iburnasses

Had a post on swearing, and a post on a 2yr old saying 'Boom' to every explosion. Just makes war look so playful doesn't it?.. with exceptions to those poor souls blown up by C4 and lie down with a headacheComment

Lag shouldn't be a factor... it should be handled client end. It might present problems with machine resources since it would add new particals, textures, and decals, but lag (server/client traffic) shouldn't be an issue.
Me, I don't care. It's a game. I'm not particularly impressed by displays of gore and having blood 'n guts certainly doesn't do anything to improve the core gameplay.
However, there is a certian sick charm to the ocassional splash or pink mist.Comment

There is a minimod for vanilla BF2, that does the "red dust trick" like prmm.
But it doesn't work on punkbuster (ranked) servers, because you have to overwrite some files.
I found it only on a german BF2 site, here's the link for those who are interested.
