Re: TBF2 forum member caught cheating? You decide...
Scinto, i think its more the fact he constantly boasts of his unconquerable prowess and belittles so many people in these forums. Now, it appears he's been found out, *note i said APPEARS*, and people want to know if his boasting is truly justified or if he was one of those individuals who feel that cheating in an anonymous online game makes them big muscly intelligent lady magnets.

There is also a question mark behind that word.
True. I noticed that. Although most people unlike ourselfs will miss that and accept him/her as being a cheater. It's unfair to label a community member a cheater with out PB's or any other deciding party's say so. Otherwise its just slander or speculation. Everyone at any time or another has suspected a player of cheating. How many can prove it (such case excluded).

Even the "proof" is debateable. PB hardware banned a few guys I know all at the same exact time. Why? Because they were using "similar" hardware to what some known hackers used, i.e. they had the same HDs and vid cards! They unbanned them and said "our mistake" the next day.

but that can be justififed in a few pages not letting a topic hit 16 pages of people going oh 'he's cheating' when the videos dont exactly show alot as its from the servers POV and not the players, as the server wont be able to see what the player can how can you really judge from those few videos

Wow! Even though they apologised that is still bs.

Here are a couple of his older previous posts I was referring to that in my opinion sway my opinion towards cheater:

I bet that footage was from a 5 ish hrs of playing and out of all those hrs he only came up with 3 minutes of decent looking footage. You need to realize that the aimbot sucks ass in bf2 because there is no retlock, no no recoil, and no lead. SO basically if you are not moving and standing still it is decent, if not then the aimbotter is going to to get ****ed.

Maz's site is nothing more than public cheats he labels as his own. The kid has no coding abilities at all. He takes all his ideas, ie his MIST download system, from BG which has been around since 2000. I am not condoning cheating, but how Maz has become such a celebrity in bf2 land shocks me when he is nothing more than a thief and not a very good one at that.
Is someone a little jealous?

w0w kid, you give new meaning to the term moron. I have 55 hrs in the air, compared to 130+ hrs total. Thats less than half my time in the air you ****tard. Keep rocking your 1.8 kill to death you noob. You are the kind of girl that screams and whines when you get owned in a server by myself albeit with whatever I am using. You really aren't even worthy of a response. BTW nice one, make fun of my ram, you are a cool kid.

This is true enough mate, but there are instances in here where people are straying off topic a bit and whatnot, plus there is more than 220 posts, i reckon probably about 150 people have had a say in here.. no way you can fit 150 posts in on a few pages, ya know?
Anyways, i think its primarily because he has made no secret at all of how good he claims to be and now that is under a shadow of doubt, a lot of people know of his name and all.. Im just relieved that nobody has done anything stupid and gotten it closed yet because im anxiously awaiting the result from indianscout.:)
Re: TBF2 forum member caught cheating? You decide...
Damn that MSX video is interesting! Call me naive, I kind of assumed that there were cheats out but I never knew that worked so damn well. I've never seen anything like it.
I'm really interested now in the outcome of this, I'd love to see 100% proof either way though I'm not sure how we can prove this completely. What I could like to see released is the whole Battle Recorder file so we can really dig in to it to see what's going on. If you watch the whole game from his perspective you'll get a pretty good idea as to whether he is cheating or not.
I initially though that the "tracking through the hill" movie was conclusive proof. However, he said that the guy had been spotted by a team mate and he was tracking him on the minimap. Now, I accepted that at the time as an explanation but, like a poster has said, he does *seem* to be tracking him in three dimensions. It's hard to tell for sure due to the camera angle as to whether the gun moves vertically as well as horizontally.
I reckon it would be am interesting exercise, if we had the whole Battlerecorder file, to go though it and look for definitive proof either way. Of course it could be the case that everyones way bored of this thread by now and couldn't care less either way but personally I'm kind of interested. It's a shame that Battlerecorder doesn't record console logs and messages as we could see if one of his team mates does indeed "spot" the guy for him to shoot. If we knew that no team mate spots the guy enabling him to track him through the hill then we'd know for sure he was cheating.
