Road to Jalalabad? This is a bit strange... Jalalabad is in Afghanistan Between Kabul and Pakistan, which does not fit into the Mec/US scheme. (The MEC maps are in the Gulf Region). Also, using a real town is quite peculiar (correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I know Mashtuur and Karkand are fictional settlements)

I think it would be a good move for DICE to give us a new map and some additional content, we deserve it for sticking with them through all these crappy patches they've been giving us. If the 1.31 patch can actually fix everything they managed to screw up, and give us a new map, they could get a lot more BF2142 sales, but on the flip side, if it still sucks, and continues to make BF2 unplayable for so many players, then they'll loose alot.

Also, the bf2_infantryonly would be useful for clan scrims or matches, when you have like 5 vs 5 no vehicles.

Exactly right also, instead of having to DL a map pack with them removed, and making new members DL it, they could simply have them be a removable option instead of tempting their use by being there.


IF there is a next patch, and if it comes with a free map, even one, and it fixs three problems/bugs that in the past have gone unfixed (not ones introduced with 1.3) I'll reconsider purchasing AF, and possibly 2142, though it's late, it's better than not at all, especially since to me, BF2 still has plenty of life left.

Doesnt DICE or EA or whomever check any of the forums like these or anything else and notice that people are finding stuff out? Why not just make an official statement for the public.

Well, that's nice to know, but I still believe the majority of the community feels that your studio is basically a sock puppet of EA now and that they've been screwing up everything and none of you guys in Sweden can do a thing about it. If you would like to alieve my worries I'd be delighted.
