Im quiet happy with AF after the flames :p

Well after downloading with some doubt about the connection problems and 1,3 issues.I have to post im quiet happy with AF,it kicks EF(dont know why it just does)(no gay voices :P)

Also i played most of the day with only one crash and one disconnect so hope this keeps up:p

At first the a10 was top but i found not many using the AA and i actually was top ,then its was funny they started complaining im sitting on that thing the whole round:laugh:

It was funny because I complain when im getting A10 owned

Anyway best 10 bucks so far
    scout choppers rock!

Somehow I knew you would like it.....all the nay-sayers need to "risk" the 10 dollars and renew your faith in ea/dice, they did a kick ass job on this booster.

I love this booster pack, it's totally worth it. EA and Dice is both doing a remarkable job at Battlefield 2. I'm only experiencing problems with CTD in BF2. Never had another problem with anything. Thank you!

Chopper or tank whoring on Harvest is my favorite. It's also my favorite map.

Midnight sun blows cawk and road rage is so-so

Yeha, this is worth it... much better maps then EF. EF's only good map was Great wall... and sniping on Tarabara could be fun sometimes too

Yup AF rocks. I love the scout choppers. They own attack choppers in gun fights. The attack choppers are so easily outmanouvered!

It's obvious to me EA have put alot of thought into the balance of these maps too. True, there is alot of vehicles but I have already seen a fair few fierce ground-pounder fire fights.

          Love it!

          Good job EA/Dice

I'm really looking forward to playing AF now. I downloaded it last night but didn't have time to play it (gah!) and was not particularly excited about it anyway but everyone seems to like it - hurrah! Hoping to have a decent AF session tonight.

After buying Euro there was no way in hell I was gonna buy AF....I reluctently bought it and am very pleased with it. The A-10s are not over powered like I thought they would be they balance nicely with their slower speeds and are easy to take down with AA.....not to easy...balanced!!! Great booster pack!!

They're fun maps, everything works smoothly, even got a bronze medal on my first round after downloading last night. Yay me!

It's kinda eerie playing in US-based locations though... made me think of that movie Red Dawn from about 400 bazillion years ago. Love the thunder and feeling of rain on the harvest one. Nice and dark, good sniper map.

Good stuff overall, $10 worth no prob.

I had alot of fun playing it with friends. I did have some freezes, network connections lost, and one CTD. This is very unusual on my system, or with vBF2. But overall, I like AF.

Re: Im quiet happy with AF after the flames :p

I agree, its a great revival of what BF2 was meant to be in my opinion. Operation Harvest is a supreme map with a lot of potential... I saw this situation play out so many times last night it was awesome...

Tanks advance across a field, enemy anti-tank infantry hide behind hay-bails and barns popping shots at the tanks, snipers across the field in a stand of trees take out AT troops and tanks advance into a chokepoint/flag area... it was just awesome.

RIBs on Midnight Sun are totally worthless (as they are in any land map with a river in 99% of servers...).... Midnight Sun frustrates me in general because of the continuing trend of placing AA in really crappy spots with limited field of view. Mobile AA is nice but the bombers rule these maps... I was playing against 3 clan members last night, 2 in an attack chopper and one in the A10 and they were unstoppable. Litterally, unstoppable. That shouldnt happen quite so easily IMHO. I'll spare you my AA rant.

Havent played Road Rage yet but I hear its spectacular... looking forward to it.

Best $10 I've spent on a game in years.

I have found that teamwork is key....unlike vanilla and even sf you can just go rambo style and own it up. If you're in a tank you need to be a engy there is no question about that. IMHO the US has the advantage on almost every map but that is just my opinion .
